My dears Julian, Maja, Mira and Alexandra,

Now I am home I want to send a huge thank you to all of you for a brilliant, fascinating, wonderful trip. For you, Julian and Maja, another triumph. For you Mira and Alexandra, for making each day memorable. The itinerary was perfect–each day more interesting and wonderful things to see, delicious food, comfortable hotels–and not forgetting our dear driver Plumen.

Julian and Maja, I did not dare to hope that you could equal the success of last year’s trip, but you certainly did. Mira, we not only appreciated all your amazing knowledge, we came to love you and are grateful for your sensitive concern for our welfare. You, Alexandra, went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and well cared for.

I now know that for an old lady still wanting to see the wonders of the world, this is the only way to travel. So all being well, you will hear from me again!
