We had a most enjoyable time and are really pleased we visited Bulgaria not only for the wine and food but the cultural experience as well. I have now received the feedback from my fellow travellers.

First of all, we want to thank you for arranging such a good tour. Your tour prospectus promised a very interesting tour and you certainly delivered it. We all enjoyed a most memorable week full of experiences we will never forget, which was due in part to our excellent guide, Giorgi, who was the proverbial font of all knowledge about Bulgaria. It also proved very interesting to be introduced to the wonderful culture and traditions of Bulgaria as well as the wine and food. It was almost like two tours rolled into one. The week was so full of highlights it is difficult to decide which were best. The ones that stand out most in our memory are our visits to the Starosel Winery (for the cellar and dancing experience), the Seven Generations Winery (for the meal overlooking the sun setting over the Danube), the Bachkovo monastery (for the impressive icons, murals and artistic facings), and the excellent selection of wine we were introduced to. It is a great pity they are not readily available in the UK. We fully expect you would be able to arrange another tour for us along similar lines but with a completely different itinerary. This is something we will certainly bear in mind.”
